Using Interactive Guided Imagery(sm), I will help you to get in touch with the reasons you smoke, identify the needs smoking fulfills, and help you discover how you can meet those needs effectively, and without gaining weight. You will learn stress management tools and coping techniques to help you:
- Deal with the stress of nicotine withdrawal
- Focus on your success
- Re-frame negative thoughts
- Build new and positive patterns for healthy living
Have you stopped smoking before?
If you have been smoke-free before, even for just 2 weeks, you can be smoke-free long-term. Once you get through the 72 hours of nicotine withdrawal, you are basically dealing with breaking the habit, or the compulsion to smoke. Imagery and hypnosis work in the unconscious mind, where behaviors are set and changing behaviors takes place.
How many sessions will it take?
Generally, it takes about 4 sessions. In these sessions, you will learn the tools and strategies that work for smoking cessation.
These tools can also be applied to other areas of your life to help you better manage stress, problem-solve, and enhance the quality of your life. You will also receive my Interactive Guided Imagery(sm)
CD, Positive Affirmations for Being Smoke-Free, to assist you through the process of behavior change.
